The project involves the renovation of an apartment located in Latisana (UD), near the seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro. The will of the Customer was to revamp the outdated housing unit, so that the apartment could have a fresh appearance and welcoming. The will of the Client has been obtained using current materials, such as resin cement for the part living-kitchen-bathroom, while the wooden floors of the bedroom were kept but restored. The internal staircase connecting the two residential areas has undergone a major renovation that improved the aesthetics of the vertical connection. The bathroom has been the subject of a radical intervention, both from the point of view of plant engineering from the functional-distribution. Even the preparation of the same has been total, with the use of raw wood furnitures and new vessels. The master bedroom was covered with stone veneer to provide a warm and typical environment. The concept was developed taking into account the systems, both mechanical and electrical, which are designed also according to the distribution of the interior spaces. The living area, open plan, is designed to provide emergency lighting in the premises for all daylight hours and the solution was well received by the clients. The formal purity has inspired the functional principles of 'housing units, both in the internal rooms available in the choice of materials used. Among the distinctive elements of the project is reminiscent of the use of resin cement for the flooring of the living area, the kitchen, the bathroom, opaque white lacquered doors, a careful study of the interior lighting and entrance areas, in order to enhance the simplicity of the furnishings in dark oak kitchen and natural waxed oak for the master bedroom. The relaxation area was enhanced by placing a clean design sofa from a formal point of view which has been assessed by the clients also particularly comfortable and functional.
